“I’ve been living here for five years. I have a nephew living on the coast and they heard wonderful reports about Seasons so they decided if I liked it here I could come. So, I had an inspection and I was very impressed. I liked the gardens and the different units I saw. I’m living on a ground unit and I’ve got a lot of light, it’s very nicely designed. I like the carers – they are very interesting people, they enjoy coming in to do our care and have a little talk sometimes and we enjoy their company. The food here is good too and the residents are very interesting. We have a lovely lunchtime table and that’s our social time. I enjoy that because I think it’s good therapy for you. A lot of people here wouldn’t live anywhere else. It’s like a home after your home.”

“It’s got everything I want, it’s a nice unit and the place seems friendly so I thought, why not? I just decided to move. I wasn’t ready to go but I did, and I’m not sorry! The meals are pretty good and the people are friendly. People say when you come to these places ‘What do you do? Sit in your room all day?’ I say ‘No, you can if you want to but you don’t have to, there’s plenty to do. Especially for someone living alone. You’re much better off in an environment like this than sitting at home by yourself.”
