Seasons Kallangur offers a dedicated place for residents and their canine companions to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.

It’s also a place for friendships to be made – of both the human and canine variety.

The spacious off-leash area and the adjacent Tranquility Trail has proven to be a dog owner’s paradise with a growing group of happy residents enjoying the opportunity to sit in the leafy surrounds while the dogs play.

There’s Lyn and her dog Ski who is getting used to meeting so many friendly doggy faces, Moira who fostered for RSPCA and rescued her dog Bonnie, Jackie and her happy pooch Polly, who at 14-years-old has the energy of a much younger dog, and Desmond and his energetic twosome Normie and Ryan.

When Lyn came to look at Seasons Kallangur, the large off-leash area caught her eye.

“When I came to look at the community, I said to my son, look at this! It’s just wonderful,” says Lyn. “Now I’m here, I come down in the morning and again in the afternoon.”

“My dog means everything to me. I wouldn’t go anywhere without her.”

Desmond and his dogs Ryan and Normie are also down at the park often and despite being new residents, have quickly made themselves at home.

“My two blokes came in here and they looked at the bed and they jumped on it as if to say, ‘this is our home; you get your own’,” laughs Desmond.

“I come down here every day – I usually give them a run before lunch,” says Desmond.

“They love being here.”

Jackie agrees, “Polly loves this park!”
