Got some guests popping over for an unexpected morning or afternoon tea? Never fear, these three-ingredient lemonade scones are so quick and easy and taste just like grandma makes!
3 cups self-raising flour
1 cup thickened cream
1 cup lemonade
2 tablespoons of milk (for brushing)
- Preheat oven to 220C
- Add flour to a bowl and gradually add in lemonade and cream. Mix to form a soft dough and then place on a floured surface.
- Knead dough to a 2cm thickness and cut with a floured scone cutter.
- Place close together on a tray and brush the tops with some milk.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
Serve warm with jam and whipped cream. Yum!
