Di Kemp, Community Manager

I have been with Seasons since 2010 in a variety of roles from Assistant in Nursing through to Community Manager. Following a life changing decision to move to Bribie Island, I was fortunate to receive a transfer to join our Bribie Community as Community Manager in 2017.

My job has many facets. As Community Manager, I am responsible for the day to day operation of the community and all the administrative tasks that this entails. Equally, if not more importantly, I take a hands-on role to ensure we provide a warm, friendly, caring, safe and homely environment for our residents.

I have always endeavoured to foster a close-knit community for staff and residents alike to create a ‘home away from home’ that offers the best outcomes for our Seasons families.

I feel incredibly privileged to share the lives of our many residents and couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

Cheryl Rowell, Care Services Manager

I have worked in aged and community care for 28 years. Having worked in both residential and community settings, I found I loved the community work as things change regularly and every day is different.

I’ve been with Envigor for five years, working in a number of positions across a number of Seasons communities and finally taking up the Care Service Manager’s position at Bribie in March 2014. It is perfect for me as I live only five minutes away and a lot of my family live here or close by.

This has given me the opportunity to get to know the residents of Seasons Bribie Island very well and build trusting relationships with them.

I believe the Seasons model with Envigor providing the care is really effective at allowing our elders to remain in a home-like environment with access to any service they require from low care to palliative without having to leave us. It is a model that gives great peace of mind for them and their families. Being able to bring their pets with them is also vital for those who have them and they are welcomed.

I hope to remain at Envigor until I retire and have the opportunity to assist many more people both in Seasons and in the wider Bribie community.

Christine, Community Consultant

I was born and raised in London and have worked in a variety of industries, including real estate, hairdressing and interior design, before finding my niche in working in retirement villages and aged care.

I enjoy guiding people through the options available and providing information to help them make informed choices.

I love connecting with people and putting them at ease in what can be a stressful time. I find my work incredibly rewarding as I strive to help people to make the right decision for them.
