Are you looking for a way to share your interests and passions with others? Have you considered becoming an aged care volunteer?

Each Seasons community runs an active calendar of lifestyle events. Our volunteers help to engage our residents in activities that they love to do, but may need some extra assistance.

This can include craft activities such as knitting and quilting, music, indoor and outdoor sports and games and even something as simple as reading a book or the paper.

While hands on care is the work of our carers, volunteers play an important role in the day-to-day happiness and wellbeing of our residents.

If you’d like to become a volunteer, fill in the form below. Your chosen community will be in touch when they are in need of volunteers.

“I’ve been living here for five years. I have a nephew living on the coast and they heard wonderful reports about Seasons so they decided if I liked it here I could come. So, I had an inspection and I was very impressed. I liked the gardens and the different units I saw. I’m living on a ground unit and I’ve got a lot of light, it’s very nicely designed. I like the carers – they are very interesting people, they enjoy coming in to do our care and have a little talk sometimes and we enjoy their company. The food here is good too and the residents are very interesting. We have a lovely lunchtime table and that’s our social time. I enjoy that because I think it’s good therapy for you. A lot of people here wouldn’t live anywhere else. It’s like a home after your home.”

“It’s the friendships I’m forming and meeting new people. Being able to enjoy their company at our lunches and happy hour. I think coming here to Seasons is the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m really happy!”
